Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling a residential location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to residents and visitors. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter potential risks and provide assistance to those entering or exiting the location.
Collaborate with residents, visitors, and staff to address security-related concerns and provide guidance as needed.
