About The Position

The Security Guard at Select Specialty Hospital plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the facility, ensuring the protection of patients, employees, and hospital property. This position requires a commitment to customer service excellence and active participation in safety programs, making it essential for creating a secure and compassionate environment for all stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current state-issued driver's license in good standing required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in security required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall security of the facility, including the protection of patients, employees, and hospital property.
• Enforce hospital safety and security policies, performing required rounds and addressing emergencies as they arise.
• Conduct surveillance of employees and visitors entering and leaving the facility to ensure personal protection as requested.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer service excellence in all interactions with patients, family members, visitors, and other staff.
• Participate in the organization's safety programs by identifying potential risks and promoting patient and environmental safety.
• Perform scheduled tours to ensure the safety of patients and property and generate timely reports of any incidents discovered during tours.
