Requirements

• Proficiency in surveillance techniques and operating CCTV systems.
• Valid Guard Card required.
• 1+ years of experience in a security role preferred.
• Strong customer service skills to assist patients with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of first aid or CPR is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations tactfully.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the dispensary premises to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect and address any suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Greet patients and visitors warmly, verifying IDs and medical cannabis cards, or assisting them with in-store sign-ups.
• Enforce dispensary rules and policies while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents, providing assistance as needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports for any security breaches or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
