As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol sales floors, entrances, and parking areas, staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide courteous customer service, communicate clearly with store teams, and document concerns with integrity. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific procedures, access control steps, and/or emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including responding to alarms, disturbances, medical events, and/or suspicious behavior.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management, and assist with follow-up actions as directed.
- Support loss prevention and crowd management efforts by monitoring entrances and exits, observing for potential theft indicators, and/or assisting with customer disputes while maintaining a professional presence.
