As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations with strong customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting using a computer and/or tablet. Requirements

  • Applicants must have a New York State Security Guard License.
  • Applicants must have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with onsite staff and emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial services location, including lobbies, offices, ATM areas, and the building perimeter, as permitted by post orders.
  • Monitor access control points and observe for unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
