About The Position

The Security Guard performs assigned duties under the guidance of the Facilities Manager. As a Security Guard, they will perform a variety of duties relating to the security of the facility during the shift. They will also maintain effective interaction with the public and hospital personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years experience in customer service or conflict resolution.
• California Driver's License required.
• State of California Guard Card required or must be obtained within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CCTV and security systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately logs and documents all security daily activity reports, maintenance and service work performed in a timely manner.
• Maintains a 20-minute response time when being asked if a shift can be covered for a call out.
• Responds appropriately to security codes and contacts outside Emergency Personnel when appropriate.
• Answers alarms/calls and investigates disturbances.
• Monitors entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons during the night shift to guard and maintain security of premises.
• Patrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors.
• Parking enforcement as necessary.
