As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff with a service-first mindset, communicate clearly, and report concerns in a timely way. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies within a hotel and resort location, and when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access concerns, disturbances, medical calls, and/or alarm activations per post orders.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, verify authorized entry when required, and communicate professionally with hotel staff regarding security-related observations and/or requests for assistance.
  • Document routine activity, incidents, and corrective actions in reports and logs, and relay pertinent information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
