As a Security Guard - Commercial Property Patrol Full-Time in Summit, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong, visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related events as required by site protocols.
Communicate professionally with property staff, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and/or drills as directed.
