Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication while bringing a reliable, agile, and innovative approach that reflects a people-first culture, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with entry procedures, directions, and general assistance while reporting concerns through proper channels.
Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, completing assigned reports, and communicating clearly with tenants, contractors, and/or local responders during routine and unusual events.
