About The Position

As a Security Guard - Patrol Route Driver in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance issues as required by site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or medical emergencies, in accordance with site protocols.
