Job Description As a Security Guard - Patrol Financial Campus in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a prominent financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and respond to potential concerns. This position requires both armed responsibilities and driving duties. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect assets.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and credentials as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible armed presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
