Job Description As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Full Time in Zeeland, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and supporting a welcoming environment for all. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
- Document and report observations, incidents, and maintenance issues according to site protocols.
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at the location.
- Support access control procedures and verify credentials as required by site policies.
- Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities as outlined in site-specific procedures.
