Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document daily events, incidents, and observations in required logs and reports.
Support site rules related to restricted areas, vehicle activity, and/or contractor access while maintaining professionalism in active industrial working environments and changing conditions.
