As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will check doors, gates, and loading areas, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including warehouse areas, perimeter, parking lots, and exterior yards where applicable.
• Monitor access points such as employee entrances, shipping and receiving areas, and trailer and/or yard gate traffic by observing and reporting unusual activity.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant information to the next shift and/or site leadership.
