As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and support site teams with professional customer service. Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points at an aero and/or defense location; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access control points by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as required by post orders, and directing visitors to the proper check-in process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and/or public responders based on site protocols.
• Complete timely documentation such as patrol logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
