As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and coordinate with site contacts while reflecting Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

Have one or more years of security experience.
A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or public emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Monitor entry points, lobby traffic and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity, and provide directions and assistance as needed.
Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs and other required documentation, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
