As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Response in Passaic, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry of employees, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site-specific protocols and account requirements.
• Support day-to-day operations by observing surroundings, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and providing visible presence intended to help discourage unauthorized activity.
