About The Position
The Security Guard Officer (SO) Commercial Vehicle Inspector (CVI) meets the local, state, and federal requirements to perform duties as an unarmed officer and CVI. The primary duties of the SO may include but are not limited to: conducting security checks and inspections; enforcing federal law and assimilated state law, inspections and searches; perform protective service work such as guarding FLETC owned or leased buildings and property; protecting FLETC equipment and material; controlling access to FLETC installations by employees, visitors, and residents; and other duties as assigned. The SO CVI is unarmed.
