Security Guard - Office Patrol Unarmed
About The Position
As a Security Guard - Office Patrol Unarmed in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, remaining visible throughout your assigned area to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and support access control measures. Requirements
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disturbances.
- Observe and report any unusual conditions, behaviors, or incidents that may impact the location.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and/or behaviors.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
