As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial services location, including interior floors, lobbies, common areas, and exterior perimeter areas, as directed by post orders.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior through a visible presence and professional interaction.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving and relaying information, assisting with crowd control, and coordinating with on-site management and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, document security-related activities, and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or the client representative.
