About The Position

As a Security Guard - Mobile Patrol Driver in Napoleon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout the property. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities or security-related incidents.
  • Assist with enforcing site regulations and protocols pertaining to the food and beverage environment, including visitor and contractor management.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in written reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and local emergency services as needed during incidents or drills.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns to supervisors or site contacts in a timely manner.
