As a Security Guard - Media Studio Patrols in North Charleston, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the tech, media, and telecom industry. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and conducting regular patrols, while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter within a technology, media, and telecom location.
Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees with inquiries, directions, and information as needed.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
