As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with site leaders, employees, and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements
- The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, assist with visitor check-in and/or badge procedures, and help maintain orderly movement of people and vehicles.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
- Complete security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate updates during post handoff to support consistent coverage.
