As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Lobby Monitor in Newton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, managing access control and responding to security-related inquiries. You will support daily operations, provide excellent customer service, and help to deter incidents through your welcoming presence. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous first point of contact.
Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and issuing visitor badges according to site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Maintain accurate logs and records of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and security-related incidents as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
Support emergency response activities as directed, communicating promptly with appropriate personnel when situations arise.
Provide customer service by answering inquiries, giving directions, and assisting with general questions related to the location and its procedures.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel to help to deter potential issues.
