About The Position

As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Access Driver in Pontiac, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Assist with emergency response activities as necessary, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
