About The Position

As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to guests and staff. Remaining visible and approachable, you will contribute to a welcoming environment while upholding our core values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver's license in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a positive environment within the retail location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, disturbances, and other unwanted behaviors within the retail setting.
Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and provide support during special events or peak business hours.
