As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Pearl, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to questions and requests from personnel and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards encountered during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel to support security-related needs unique to a logistics and distribution environment, such as monitoring loading docks, entrances, and high-traffic areas.
Participate in emergency response activities as directed, following location-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidance.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as appropriate.
