As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the premises to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the property while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
Guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and perimeter.
Observe for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity within the logistics and distribution environment.
Document security-related incidents and complete required reports accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment for personnel and property.
