Job Description As a Security Guard - Industrial Access Full-Time Weekdays in Camden, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors as required.
- Assist with implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Support emergency response activities as needed, working with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management.
