About The Position

This position patrols and monitors premises and personnel to assure security and deter damage to or loss of Company and/or employee property. Trains Guards on security systems and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Education equivalent to a High School Diploma with two years of related experience.
• Must have current State of Utah Security License/background check.
• Must have current First Aid certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of covert surveillance, and building card access and physical camera systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fire and emergency procedures.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and various shifts.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database, and other applicable software programs.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Orients and trains Guards on security systems and responsibilities.
• Controls entry of authorized personnel and visitors on Company premises.
• Maintains visitor logs.
• Conducts patrols of grounds to ensure security.
• Ensures the security of company personnel and property.
• Ensures timely corrective action in response to reported security incidents.
• Enter, update and print badges for card access system.
• Performs other related duties and tasks as required.
