Job Description As a Security Guard - Hotel Access Control Full-Time in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a renowned hotel and resort location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service to guests and staff. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, reflecting Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting guests and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location management.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities as needed, assisting with evacuation or other procedures when appropriate.
