You will observe and report unusual activity, respond to calls for assistance, and provide clear, professional communication with staff, visitors, and emergency partners. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, vendors and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements and emergency response activities.
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs and directing individuals to authorized locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, alarms and/or fire panel activations, and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, unusual conditions and/or unsecured doors.
• Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift logs and patrol activity records, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
