As a Security Professional - Hospital Patrol Specialist in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, providing visible support to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to various situations. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communicate clearly with everyone you encounter, reflecting Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and disturbances.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site protocols.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or providing directions during critical events.
Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and employees.
