Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity observed during patrols.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information, supporting a welcoming environment.
• Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the healthcare setting.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to uphold established protocols and standards.
