Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with on-site staff and/or emergency responders as needed to address incidents and maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and patients.
