About The Position

National Star Services, a 27-year-old nationwide facility management company, is seeking Security Guards/Guard Shack Attendants for its location in McCook, IL 60525. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of the facility through patrols, managing vehicle movement, maintaining documentation, and reporting activities to operations management.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
• Two valid forms of ID.
• GED/High School
• Own transportation to commute.
• A Background check and Drug test will be conducted.
• Must be available to start working asap

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting regular patrols of the facility to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor and manage the inbound and outbound movement of vehicles and trucks.
• Ensuring proper documentation and compliance with procedures.
• Perform accurate daily data entry into log sheets and maintain detailed records of all activities.
• Provide daily reports to Operations Management, highlighting any incidents, observations, or operational updates.
• Complete and submit Daily Activity Reports (DAR) at the end of each shift.
• Collaborate with team members and provide support as needed, while promptly reporting any issues or concerns to management during assigned duties.
