As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols specific to the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or potential threats encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while on duty.
Complete security-related logs, reports, and documentation as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions and needs of the location.
