As a Security Guard - Government Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong and approachable presence. This driving post involves conducting regular patrols, interacting with individuals on-site, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required and proof must be provided to the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards.
  • Assist with access control at entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident and/or shift reports as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries or concerns related to security-related matters.
  • Assist law enforcement or emergency response personnel when needed, following established protocols.
  • Remain alert and observant throughout the shift to help to deter unauthorized activity on or around the property.
