As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving responsibilities are part of the position. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with security-related inquiries and directions.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and unusual activities to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.
Follow all site-specific procedures related to the food and beverage industry, including protocols for hygiene and contamination prevention as required.
