As a Security Guard - Full-Time Tech Patrol in South Bend, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within dynamic tech and telecom locations. Your presence and regular patrols help to deter security-related incidents while offering outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor for any unusual activity or security-related concerns and report them promptly according to site procedures.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
