About The Position

As a Security Guard Full Time Badge Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, support access control activity, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a government location serving the public.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while preparing accurate activity and incident documentation.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, with working conditions that may vary by site.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and resident activity to help support orderly operations and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.
Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding unusual activity, policy concerns, and requested assistance.
