Requirements
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Security experience of 5+ years is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures for a utilities location.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing visitors and vendors to the appropriate contacts.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
- Complete shift reports and required documentation, communicate clearly with site leadership and/or local responders, and assist with administrative tasks such as phone routing and badge tracking.
