As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors, monitoring access, and assisting students, staff, and guests. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors in a professional manner at the front desk of the location.
Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures according to location guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Communicate and collaborate with school personnel and Allied Universal management as needed to address security-related concerns at the location.
Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or inappropriate behavior.
