As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and exceptional customer service. You will manage access control, provide clear communication, and support a welcoming environment, all while upholding Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.
Requirements
- Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
- Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and manage visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain a professional presence at the front desk and assist with inquiries or directions as required by site personnel or visitors.
