Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and obtain/possess/maintain a background suitability/adjudication through the Department of Justice (DOJ).
• Must be a Certified Security Officer in the state of Texas.
• Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of office policies, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Report to work in the proper uniform and maintain the appropriate uniform at all times while on duty.
• Perform security guard duties.
• Enforce regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security.
• Exercise judgment and use discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies.
• Determine whether to intervene directly, ask for assistance, keep situations under control or surveillance, and report incidents to the appropriate authority.
• Work beyond 8 hours per day when required.
• Work day, swing, or night shift as assigned.
