As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a dynamic tech and media location. You’ll support access control, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site teams to support a secure work environment.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate any concerns to supervisors as needed.
