As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a State, County, or City issued Security License is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual conditions encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while representing Allied Universal at the location.
Follow all instructions and directives provided by Allied Universal management and site leadership.
