As an unarmed patrol officer serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role is to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication as you interact with the public and site personnel. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for unusual situations.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide assistance as needed.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, offering support and information when required.
Document and report all incidents, maintenance issues, and security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
