As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors through courteous customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, you will work as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Have CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor direction, and report concerns according to site-specific protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete timely reports and logs, communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related audits and inspections as assigned.
