As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate, in a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
Document observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
